Are There Minor League Baseball Teams In Chicago?

I”m not looking for the cubs or sox minor league teams, i just want to know what minor league baseball teams are in chicago.

    i believe the closest is a Class A team in the midwest league, the Kane County Cougars. they are about 40miles west of chicago.
    they are affiliated with the Oakland A’s.

    The Schaumburg Flyers play in Chicago’s Alexian Field.
    PS: Edtrash – how did you find that geographical info? It’s cool map but they don’t have all the teams. I can’t find map on MILB.com website

    In Schamburg which is a few miles out has one(Schamburg Flyers), and there is also the Kane County Cougars

    Yes, there is. They play in a cozy old ballpark located on Waverly and Sheffield avenues.

    There are several independent league teams in the Chicago area: Joliet jackhammers, Gary Railcats, Schumburg Flyers. Also, There is a Marlins Single A team in Kane county, and a Devils Rays A team in South Bend.
